The Dunes

The client's aim was to have the newly purpose-built accommodation for the travelling golfer in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula. The Links Lodge is situated a short stroll from The Dunes Clubhouse and consists of one-bedroom studios and two-bedroom self-contained apartments. 

Bunkered within its rural setting, The Dunes Golf Course has emerged from a dedication to materials that are resilient to local coastal conditions -- those that will wear in, not out -- and largely procured from local suppliers. Alongside these sustainable measures, the project employs solar passive design methods ensuring it is efficient as well as aesthetically cohesive.
