Since its establishment by Ted Moody in 1953, J. Moody & Co. Builders (Moody Builders) has grown to occupy a place of respect and recognition within Victoria’s built industries. Located in Blairgowrie on the Mornington Peninsula, the building company has evolved from its commercial beginnings to emerge as an eminent builder across various scopes and scales including award-winning design-led residential projects facilitated under the name Seaspray Homes.

Now entering its third-generation as a proud family run business, Director John Moody and his son Ryan Moody have steered the company into a new iteration which leverages Ryan’s architectural and environmental science qualifications alongside a passion for innovation, sustainability and multidisciplinary collaboration within the built industries leading to the realisation of environments that are profoundly relevant and exceptionally crafted.

Moody Builders has garnered a reputation for delivering projects of both simple in nature and those of esteem, all on time and on budget with the assistance of numerous trades, suppliers and specialists of which most are based locally. Over many decades, the company has worked hard to finesse internal processes which has allowed for time and energy to be spent on the challenges unique to each scope and the engaged management of each stakeholder.
